Why Breeding is Bad

There is no such thing as an ethical breeder. I'll repeat myself to emphasize the importance of this. There is NO SUCH THING as an ethical breeder. Female dogs are tied to posts so tight if they move it will choke them. Not to mention when the female dog they're using gets too old to keep reproducing they are often killed or dumped on the side of the road. While I understand certain breeds are very cute, there are thousands if not millions of puppies in shelters and at rescues waiting to find a forever family. The dogs used for breeding are kept in terrible conditions, often outside in all types of weather conditions. Backwood breeders are also terrible. The most common breeds that are backwood bred are beagles and pit bulls. Not all of them, but a lot of hunters will breed their own beagles for hunting and when the season is over let them go in the woods so they are either killed by predators or starve. This happened to my dog, who was also abused severely because she wouldn't hunt. Once hunting season is over they breed another "batch" and the cycle repeats itself. Below is a picture of my hunting rescue, Izzie!
